Chromium Chloride - CrCl3

CrCl3 has a common structural arrangement shared by many halides of the transition metals with formula MX3. It has a cubic close packed array of chloride ions with Cr(III) sitting in 1/3 of the octahedral sites and between adjacent layers of Cl's.
